About the Author
Dr. Ramachandra R. Sista received his MD degree from the Guntur Medical College in India and completed an internship at Government Green General Hospital. After an Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University he completed a pulmonary fellowship at Stanford University in 2011. Before joining the Mayo Clinic Arizona in 2014 he was the medical director for lung and heart-lung transplantation at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He has authored a number of papers on transplantation. He is board certified in pulmonary and crtical care medicine.
