About the Author
Dr. Thomas D. Kummet has been a practicing oncologist for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1978 and completed his internal medicine residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. He subsequently completed his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at the University Medical Center in Tucson. After serving on the faculty of the University of Texas in Tyler, he returned to Phoenix as chief of hematology/oncology. For the past 10 years he has been in private practice in Sequim, WA until his recent retirement.
